Intercultural Psychology and Education Research Group
The aim of the Intercultural Psychology and Education Research Group is the interdisciplinary research of social equity, creating equal opportunity, reduction of prejudices and discrimination between groups as well as intercultural relations and social integration. Furthermore, the research work conducted in these domains includes the complex investigation of social, intergroup and interpersonal conflicts that take place in the transnational space as well as that of diversity and inequalities, the integration of minorities, different cultural groups, gender, collective memory and education of societal and historical traumas, identities and acculturation as well as related school and educational policies, institutional mechanisms, school-, family-, and individual strategies, coping strategies, empowerment and their promotion.
